My contribution: All code, putting it all together, finding tutorials for team members, helping them with Unity.
Challenges: Prepare tools for designer that allow him easy creation of locations and provide options for randomizing locations parameters. Make half procedural world creating mechanism. One scene for all menus and world (objects are being destroyed during gameplay). First time publishing on Google store.
DESCRIPTION
Second project during Game Dev School course. For this project team of 4 people received nearly 2 months of time(please note that most of us had regular jobs and family obligations during this time, so work on this game was mainly at night). Group was made of newly met people, we had one designer, one producer, one programmer(me) and one artist. We had to come up with an idea, design it and make fully complete game and after that, publish it on Google store.
Story from google store description: “The player takes the role of a captain of a spaceship, fleeing from an alien fleet wreaking havoc in the galaxy with their superweapon. Using the power of attraction of planets and extraordinary navigation skills, he must travel through countless systems in search of shelter and chance for the next day!”
